Jummy Akinyode is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Wellness Practitioner that has dedicated 12 years to specializing in mind-body medicine. Jummy founded Happy Soul Counseling and Wellness in 2020 with the mission to dispel the myth that wellness is not for everyone by using approachable, down-to-earth, and holistic approaches. She believes that connecting with our bodies allows us to understand our emotions because our bodies tell us things before our mouths can find the words. She helps clients reduce anxiety, release emotional baggage, rediscover themselves, relieve physical pain, deal with life stressors and work through repressed or long standing issues.  She has advanced training in Mental Health Counseling, Hypnotherapy, Reiki and Breathwork and Mindfulness.
